Can we boil the bark or just simmer?

Is it fine to reduce the final liquid to a lower volume it is Dmt citrate not heat resistant enough ?

Imagine you boil 3kg of bark 6x times with water and acetic acid and at the end you wanna reduce the volume of water so like 500-700ml

Is this fine or do we need a rotary evaporator and a vacuum pump and run this at lower temps ?
