Moving from Mississauga to Toronto after losing my brother need some local advice?
Hey guys, so i've been in Mississauga for a few years now and i'm thinking of moving to Toronto for a while. the reason is pretty personal... i lost my brother recently in a road accident and honestly being in Mississauga right now is just too much for me. everywhere i go i see him, every street we used to drive through, every spot we hung out at. it's just really heavy and i need a change of environment to breathe a little. so yeah, not running away exactly, just need a fresh start somewhere new while i figure things out.
i want to stay somewhere quiet and chill, nothing too busy or loud. somewhere i can go for a walk and actually feel at peace you know? a park nearby would be great, just somewhere i can sit and think without feeling like the city is swallowing me up. i don't really know Toronto that well so i have no idea which area would suit me best. i just need it to be safe, have basic stuff nearby like groceries and maybe some green space to clear my head. decent transit would be a bonus too. if you live in Toronto and know a good quiet neighbourhood that fits what i'm looking for, can you just tell me what it actually feels like to live there day to day? the good and the bad. would really appreciate some honest opinions from people who actually know the city.
thanks a lot, seriously.
