Need Some Insight Regarding Brain Fog and Fatigue
Hello all,
I'm a 24 yo male. I can't remember the exact timeline of my duration being on test but I'll try my best to be as precise as possible. I started test around 6 months ago. I ran 150mg a week for the first 4 weeks, then bumped it up to 300mg a week, injecting EOD and ran that for around 3-4 months. Around 6 weeks ago I decided to drop my dose to 150mg a week then to 100mg a week, which is what I'm running right now. I dropped my dose due to brain fog, fatigue, low libido, memory issues, etc, I was experiencing running 300 mg a week. While on 300 mg a week I got my E2 checked and it came back as 91.1, which is what I attributed my brain fog, fatigue, and low libido to. Anyways, I've been on an actual TRT dose now for, like I said, around 6 weeks but I'm still experiencing the negative symptoms I mentioned, although they've improved a little bit. I got my E2 checked again yesteday to see where it's at and to see if that's possibly what's still causing the symptoms. However, my E2 came back within normal range at 33. Like an idiot, I didn't get my E2 checked prior to hopping on so I have no baseline to go off of. Anyways, since my E2 is within normal range does anyone have any insight as to why I'm still experiencing symptoms? Perhaps my body's still adjusting to going from a high dose to a lower dose? Maybe my E2 is arbitrarily too high for me (no I'm not going to take an AI and risk crashing my E2)? Maybe it's too low ? Maybe it's something else like Progesterone? Really what I'm trying to accomplish with this post is get insight from people who have had a similar experience and experienced the same issue, any insight would be appreciated.
In the meantime, I guess I'll get a full hormone panel test done to see where my other markers are at. Also, I plan on taking an iron supplement to see if it's maybe that my iron's too low.
