adobe acrobat started to feel like overkill for everyday pdf work

I have been using Acrobat for years primarily because it felt like the default, but I realized lately most of what I do is basic editing, annotations, merging files and reviewing documents.

started experimenting with lighter options and to be honest the smoother experience was more of a surprise than the feature list. I have been using UPDF lately and it feels less bloated for normal day to day usage.

Not saying it replaces all the advanced features of Acrobat but for normal workflows it's been noticeably easier to manage.

Anyone else make the switch from Acrobat?
