Buying my first Omega

Hi Guys,

I need some help purchasing my first Luxury watch next month, its quite exciting but also nerve wracking !

For some context i live in South Africa and its quite a large saving purchasing overseas compared to purchasing at home.

I am flying via Istanbul International Airport into Palermo (Sicily, Italy)

I have been quoted by the Omega at the Airport 5200 Euro for the Omega Diver 300m Seaweed on rubber and 5700 Euro on the Bracelet.

I have also contacted a watch shop via email in Palermo (Palumbo & Gigante 1902) that has 6200 Euro for the Omega Diver 300m Seaweed on rubber and 6600 Euro on the Bracelet.

After tax refund the on Rubber should be around 5270 Euro and the Bracelet around 5610 Euro.

I suppose my question is do you think I will be able to get a better price from the watch dealer in Palmero ? Because if i can get a better price it will definately be cheaper than purchasing at the airport!

Only dowside if i cant get it cheaper then i will only be able to pick up the watch when I leave on the way home via Istanbul and not get to enjoy the watch on my holiday.

What would you do and relalistically what are my chances of getting a discount ?

Also what discount can I expect on a watch like this ?

Thank you
