guide to world cup parking at att dallas stadium

hey everyone, figured i would share what i found out about parking at att stadium, which fifa is calling dallas stadium, for the world cup matches because the rules are super strict and honestly pretty expensive.

if you want to park in the official stadium lots, you absolutely have to buy your parking pass ahead of time. there are zero drive-up options and they will not accept any cash or card payments at the gate on match day. another major thing is that you have to buy the parking pass using the exact same email address you used to buy your match tickets, or else they might literally cancel your parking pass.

since official passes are crazy expensive, like starting at one hundred and twenty eight bucks and going way up over two hundred for premium lots, i highly recommend checking out prked first. it is an app where you can rent driveways and garages from local residents who live close to the stadium. it is usually way cheaper than official lots, you skip all the stadium parking chaos, and it feels a lot safer since your car is sitting on someone's private property instead of a massive jammed lot. plus, the hosts are super cool and sometimes offer to drive you right to the gates.

if you do not want to use that, you have a few other choices. the city of arlington is opening up two city-owned lots at division street and meadowbrook park. those cost anywhere from twenty five to one hundred and twenty five bucks depending on the match. you can pay by credit card there or book ahead online, but again, no cash is accepted. some spots like six flags or nearby business lots are also selling parking for around sixty to one hundred dollars.

for public transit, you can take the trinity railway express train using the gopass app. you take the train to the centreport station and then jump on the free charter buses that go straight to the stadium. just keep in mind you need to show your match ticket to get on the charter bus, and you cannot park your own car at the train station on game days.

if you decide to rideshare, just be prepared for surge pricing. ubers and lyfts have to drop everyone off at the arlington esports stadium lot, which is about a ten minute walk to the gates. a ride from downtown can easily run you sixty bucks or more each way.

hope this helps you guys plan ahead and save some cash.
