'Old Vennel off High Street' Glasgow, photographed by Thomas Annan in 1868. Annan was hired to photograph the Glasgow slums. The work he produced is fantastic, full of lots of ghostly figures. He photographed a huge amount in this period, I've liked to a gallery in the comments.
