Work Issues with Stage 2 (Triple Pos) Invasive Ductal Carcinoma

My work is being very wishy washy with my work plan for Chemo. I am not sure what I should ask for and how I should ask. My doctors have been very communicative and will write me accommodation according to what I need. I do work in a lab (30% of the work) but there is also many projects I could work on at home. I start 4/4 Chemo cycle soon. I’m sure there will be days it would be better if I could/ have to from home. There was another woman with Breast Cancer and she was allowed to work from home during the duration of her Chemo (that was between her and her boss). When talking to my direct bosses, they were very nice but not helpful. They told me that I could only work from home 1 day a week and any accommodations would have to go through HR. They are asking for when I will need to and to make a list of things I will bring working on. I’m just anxiety ridden and they are stressing me out!
