[FIXED] ASUS TUF F15 WIFI DISAPPEARED
Just to share.
-
DISCLAIMER : I have replaced the Mediatek Wifi card with INTEL AX211 WIFI card back in 2022. Been happily lived with it for few years.
-
Then recently, this WIFI problem came back, i suspect happened after Windows update (boooo to Microsoft)
-
Been struggling for 1 week, reinstalling WIFI driver from official website few times, still not working.
-
Then, i tried update the BIOS with the driver software from ASUS official, not working.
-
What worked for me is this -> **Manual update bios with latest**
- step 1 : Prepare clean USB (must be FAT-32, NTFS got issue for BIOS to detect it)
- step2 : Downlad the recommnded latest BIOS of ur laptop model from official ASUS website, for me, it is this FX506HCAS.316, (only for laptop ASUS TUF F15 2021 https://www.asus.com/supportonly/2021%20asus%20tuf%20gaming%20f15/helpdesk\_download/)
- step 3: Copy the BIOS file into USB/pendrive of FAT32 format, (NTFS can't be detected by my BIOS)
- step 4: Restart PC, press F2 to enter BIOS
- step 5: Go to Advanced tab, and use ASUS EZFlash Utility
- step 6: Select your BIOS file, let it load.
- step 7: Restart and done.
