Hi everyone,

I'm currently going through a Change of Employer process in Qatar and wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar.

I have submitted an application on the Ministry of Labour(MoL) Portal for a sponsor transfer from a private company to the government, and it is still showing **"Pending New Sponsor Approval"** in the MoL system. However, when I checked the MOI portal, the application shows **"Under Process"** with the note:

>

What confuses me is that the MOI portal also shows the application expiry date as **Expired**, while the application itself is still marked **Under Process**. I have attached a screenshot of the MOI portal for understanding.

I have not received any new SMS notifications from the MoL portal, and as far as I know, the request has not yet reached my current employer for approval.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone seen an employer change application show "Expired" but still remain "Under Process"?
2. Is it normal for the labour system and MOI portal to show different statuses?
3. Approximately how long did your employer's change request remain at the "Pending New Sponsor Approval" stage?
4. Did anyone experience delays due to establishment registration updates or administrative changes on the new employer's side?

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
