Chem classes

I never took chem in high school so when I took it in college I was terrible. I got a C in both general chem 1 and 2, but did well in the labs for both of them. I haven’t taken organic chem or biochemistry yet, should I retake both general chems first? Or are they different enough that if I study hard enough I could make it work? Is there one class that’s easier than the other? I’ve always done better in biology classes anyways. Sorry if this is dumb, any advice helps!!!!
