Obnoxious male coworker’s comments about working from home.

I (F) work from home. Every single time I do go into the office, this dude (late 50s?) ALWAYS makes a comment: “oh wow! You still work here?” With this mocking voice. He’s also said things like “who’s your supervisor I need to call him and make sure this is allowed! Har har har” and “wow how would it be to only work one day a month?”

I’ve tried several mild responses to get the point across that he’s an ass, and also just turned away and ignored him, but he always comes back with “I’m only kidding around with you!” And pats me on the shoulder. Once he PATTED ME ON THE HEAD which I just recoiled away from him and looked him dead in the eye and said- “Ya, don’t do that.” And he just laughs and thinks he’s hilarious.

I worked in industry for 15 years so I have no issues clapping back and putting him squarely in his place, but this job is total white collar professional and I’d end up in HR if I said what I wanted to. Makes me DREAD having to go into the office even for a minute.
