Recommendations for a divorce lawyer?

I’m leaving an abusive relationship and going through a divorce, and I’m looking for recommendations for a lawyer. We have a young son, so I especially want someone experienced with parenting and custody matters who keeps the child’s interests central.

My stbx wife and I have been in mediation since last October, but it’s stalled badly. She’s very slow to act and often doesn’t follow through on the steps she’s supposed to, which is a big part of why things haven’t moved. I need a lawyer who knows how to deal with that and actually keep the process moving rather than waiting on her cooperation.

The delays have taken a real toll on my mental health, so I’m prioritizing someone responsive, experienced with high-conflict situations, and proactive about pushing things forward.
