**TL;DR:**
I propose a new PvP game mode that combines the thrill of base-building with competitive attacking, but with a twist: **you build your defense from scratch using a randomized pool of buildings and a limited budget.** This mode brings back the excitement of lower Town Halls while testing your tactical intelligence, not just your army strength.

**The Gameplay Flow (Step-by-Step):**

**Step 1: Era Selection & Matchmaking**

* Before searching for a match, the player selects which Town Hall "Era" they want to play in.
* *Example:* Even if you are a TH15, you can choose to battle at **TH10, TH12, or TH15**.
* The matchmaking system will then find an opponent who chose the **same Town Hall level**, ensuring total fairness and giving life to the older, simpler game mechanics again.

**Step 2: The Draft & Budget Phase (The Core Mechanic)**

* **The Budget:** Both players receive a fixed **"Defense Capacity Budget"** (e.g., 1,000 points).
* **The Random Pool:** The game presents a random selection of defensive buildings available for that specific Town Hall.
* **The Weight System:** Every building has a "cost" in this budget (Weight). You must spend your 1,000 points wisely and balance your base.
   * *Example:* Eagle Artillery = 200 points, Inferno Tower (Single) = 100 points, Multi-Inferno = 125, Wizard Tower = 80, High-Level Wall piece = 10 points.
* *Decision Making:* Do you build 2 Eagle Artilleries and walls, or 5 Inferno Towers and a cluster of smaller defenses? The choice is entirely yours.

**Step 3: The Setup Phase (5 Minutes)**

* Both players are given a fixed-size battle grid.
* You drag and drop the defensive buildings you purchased to construct the ultimate defensive fortress.
* Once you are happy with your placement, you press **"Ready"**. The match begins once both players are ready (or the 5-minute timer runs out).

**Step 4: Army Selection & Battle**

* After the bases are built, you are given a brief preview of your opponent's base layout.
* You select your attacking army (using your normal army capacity space) according to the layout you see.
* The battle begins! Both players attack the opponent's newly built base. Victory goes to the player who achieves the **highest destruction percentage** (ties decided by fastest attack time).

**Why I THINK this mode is amazing for Clash of Clans:**

1. **Infinite Replayability:** Since every match has a randomized pool of buildings and a budget to manage, **no two bases will ever look the same**. This completely breaks the monotony of attacking the same predictable meta-bases.
2. **Revives Old Content:** High-level players get to enjoy and revisit the strategic depth of their old Town Halls, preventing the early-game phases from becoming obsolete.
3. **Rewards Intelligence over Grinding:** This mode isn't about having maxed-out troops; it is about **smart resource allocation**. The player who best balances high-cost heavy defenses vs. cheap modular defenses will win the duel.
4. **Pure Strategy:** It brilliantly merges the two core pillars of Clash: **Base Building** and **Attacking**, into one cohesive, exciting session.

**A Quick Example of the Budget System to visualize it:**

|Building|Cost (Capacity)|
|:-|:-|
||
|Eagle Artillery|200|
|Rocket Artillery|180|
|Inferno Tower (Multi)|125|
|Inferno Tower (Single)|100|
|X-Bow|80|
|Wizard Tower|70|
|Wall Piece (Lvl 12+)|10|

*(If you have a budget of 1,000, you have to make tough choices!)*
