This is beyond ridiculous. I updated my motherboard BIOS (completely normal thing) and now Windows 11 says my PIN is invalid ("Something happened and your PIN isn't available"). It forces me to sign in with my Microsoft account password.I forgot the password → tried recovery → codes never arrive on email or SMS (even though normal emails and SMS on the same numbers work fine). Authenticator app also doesn't fully work. I even found my 25-character account recovery code and entered it saying I don't have other methods.Result? Microsoft slaps me with a 30-day waiting period because "replacing security info takes 30 days" due to two-step verification. Now I can't sign into my own account at all. During this time I basically can't use sites/services with the account, but the PC login is also fucked. The worst part? I can't even access my desktop because of this loop. The usual recovery Command Prompt tricks (creating TempAdmin etc.) aren't working for me either.Microsoft seriously designed it so a simple BIOS update can brick your access to your own computer for a month? This is user-hostile garbage. Their "security" is punishing legitimate owners while hackers probably laugh.Has anyone actually beaten the 30-day wait in this exact situation? Or found a reliable way to create a local admin account when the normal net user commands fail?Help appreciated. I'm pissed.

Fuck Microsoft — BIOS update completely locked me out of my own PC and now forcing a 30-day wait even with recovery code
