ACT Math Tutoring: Questions From a Tutor

Students who have worked with an ACT Math tutor before:

• What did your tutor do that actually helped you improve?
• On the flip side, what did they do that wasted time or didn't help your score as much as you'd hoped?

This could be anything: teaching style, homework, pacing, explanations, test-taking strategies, reviewing mistakes, etc.

I'm an ACT Math tutor myself and I'm looking for ways to improve my sessions, so I'd love to hear honest feedback from students.
