Do you guys think Lakan financially supported Maomao when she was growing up?

I’m not sure if it was ever mentioned in the light novel (maybe i glossed over it?) but I think it wasnt mentioned in the S1-S2 of the anime.

She was raised by Luomen, right? I do kinda think Lakan tried visiting her over the years but ofc she saw him more of a stranger than her actual dad.

I wonder if he financially supported Maomao atleast during those years? But Luomen kinda have an altruistic tendency that I can sort of see him rejecting lakan’s money even if it wouldve been a big help to them 😅

He’d been trying to buy Maomao’s debts or something from the granny, right? but she always repeatedly refused him (due to her grudge about what happened to Fengxian) until Jinshi did it and he got annoyed by it lol
