Looking for advice on financing a MacBook with a credit card (posting from a friend's account, mine got banned)

Hey everyone, posting this from my friend's account since my own Reddit account got suspended.

I'm looking to buy a MacBook and want to put it on a credit card. A few questions for anyone who's done this:

• Any tips on getting the best deal/cashback when buying a MacBook with a credit card?
• Is it smarter to buy directly from Apple or through a retailer (Best Buy, Amazon, etc.) when paying by credit card?
• Any installment plan options worth looking into (0% APR financing, Apple Card monthly installments, etc.)?
• Anything to watch out for in terms of fees or interest if I'm not paying it off immediately?
