I'm currently doing AI Automation freelancing (n8n, AI workflows, CRM automations, email automation, etc.), but honestly I'm struggling to get clients.

I've been sending cold emails, LinkedIn DMs, Instagram messages, and even personalized outreach, but the response rate is extremely low. Most people either don't reply or just leave the message on seen.

Now I'm thinking about trying an offline approach. Maybe visiting local businesses directly and showing them how automation can save time, reduce manual work, and help them get more leads.

For those who have actually landed clients:

\- Which type of businesses are easiest to sell AI automation services to?

\- Should I focus on local businesses or keep chasing foreign clients?

\- What industries have the biggest pain points that automation can solve?

\- Has anyone here successfully landed foreign clients without a huge portfolio or agency backing?

\- What outreach methods are working in 2026 besides cold email and LinkedIn DMs?

I don't mind doing the work. My issue is getting in front of people who actually need these services.

Would really appreciate advice from freelancers or agency owners who have been through this stage.

Thanks!
