Is it even worth it to get a ES701EU or ES601EU right now ?

I've read up a lot about models and have watched hours of videos. On this reddit I find a lot of people having problems with the machines or them even breaking after a few months or having issues with inconsistencies.

Right now where I live they have some nice discounts and on top of that there's the 10% discount going on. But even then: is it worth it to get one right now ?

I've had some Philips full auto machines before, they lasted for about 5 years with daily heavy usage (entire family enjoyed it, twenty - thirty usages /day). I'd like to replace that with something better and just as or more reliable.

But all the posts about issues are just kind of scarring me off right now. I'm thinking about getting the ES701EU or go full out and get the automatic. But if they just give out in a few months (altho under warranty then*) or after a few years, that'd just be throwing money in the gutter. It's a lot of money for me and I saved up to get something really good this time around. I'd rather do it good the first time around now.

Really no clue what to do. Or if it's better to look at other alternatives due to all the build issues reported. Would love some advice from people who actually own(ed) these machines , thanks in advance 🙏🤞!
