How did marriage changed your life?

I'm male, almost 30, and my parents are asking me to let them look for a partner for me. Tbh I always wanted a partner, I actually planned to get married in my early 20s but because of money issues and the lack of well paying jobs I didn't save up, I was always living paycheck to paycheck even tho I live with my parents.

Now I feel like time is running out, that even if I get married now I've wasted many years, that I might be raising kids at an older age, and most importantly, I might not afford it (not the wedding, where I live the father usually covers most of it)

Now I'm quitting from my current job and looking for something else, but I also want to look for a partner, I don't know if I should start looking once I find a new job or start from now.

Everyone I know is already asking me why I haven't even planned to get engaged and I keep telling them I ask myself the same thing, I really want to but I keep procrastinating and pushing it back although like I said before I feel like I'm getting to a point where it's too late.

Also, what's the best age difference you recommend, and what to look for besides deen?

So I'm hoping to get some advice from people who were in a similar situation, especially financially, they say it brings baraka, I'd love to hear some examples and stories.
