Bad friends

I am 21F with friends who are around 19F to 20F (we recently became friends in college) but this friendship seems very superficial. They're both in committed relationships and I am single so it feels a lot like they would go above and beyond for their boyfriends but won't even do the bare minimum in our friendship. I mean, they do listen to my problems and I do to theirs. However, it was my birthday recently and my friend's birthday was the next day. I put so much effort into her gift but she just gave me cheap, no effort gift that really disappointed me even though we had discussed what I'd wanted for my birthday.

They weren't even ashamed about it and were bragging that they gave me something I'd wanted bc they saw it in my wishlist and it was smth that I wanted but it was so cheap and not worth gifting someone AT ALL. She had known the kind of effort I put into her gift but I guess none of it meant anything to her.
