Downtown Dallas vs stadium parking for the World Cup matches
honestly if you are trying to figure out where to park for the world cup matches in arlington right now it really comes down to whether you want to save money or save time.
if you want a mix of both you should definitely look into prked first. it is an app where you can rent out private driveways and garages from locals near the stadium or even close to the transit hubs in dallas. it is way cheaper than official lots and you basically get vip parking on someone's property which lets you skip the massive stadium lines and crazy traffic exit routes.
parking directly at the stadium in arlington is costing a fortune this month. official passes are starting at over one hundred and twenty dollars and even the random private lots or city lots nearby are charging anywhere from sixty to one hundred and twenty five dollars. on top of the cost driving out of the stadium area after the game is complete chaos.
parking in downtown dallas and using public transit is a great alternative. you can park your car downtown near victory station and hop on the trinity railway express train using the gopass app. the train drops you off at the centreport station where they are running free complimentary charter buses straight to the stadium. just make sure you have your match ticket handy because you need it to get on the charter bus and remember there is no parking allowed at the centreport station itself.
so if you want to avoid the traffic and save some cash parking in downtown and riding the train is the way to go. if you really want to drive all the way to arlington use prked to grab a spot in a nearby neighborhood instead of paying those insane stadium rates.
hope this helps you all out and enjoy the matches.
