Another delayed rash post

Just posting this to add to the data pile since so many doctors don’t seem to know this is a common side effect. Mine didn’t know.

bupropion 150mg extended release for 2 weeks, 300 for 1.5 weeks. Then got a sudden severe bright red rash that looked like wide long welts in patches, like i thought they were scratches at first. No itching until it turned into a full body rash with hives. Benadryl did help.

Delayed allergic reactions are scary because they can be hard to pin down. If you’re taking bupropion, know that delayed reactions sometimes by weeks or more are a thing.
