I have to ask this as a 51 year old gay trans woman...

Do you see me as a lesbian? I am so self concious about this. I remember seeing the Indigo Girls with my wife so many times and feeling everytime a yearning and sad seeing all of the lesbian couples. I didn't know why, but it also hit me when we hung out with a lesbian couple we were friends with.

I came out almost 3 years ago and have been transitioning since almost day one of my egg cracking. I married my wife who is bi in '98 while I still thought I was him. She has been very supportive, and my rock. Our relationship has shifted quite a bit since then. It really feels like we are two married women now. I am so much more open with her, and she is with me. My HRT has changed my emotional levels so much! I think that has done more to change our dynamic more than anything else.
