What’s happening here?

Recently bought a used but excellent graded Ricoh GRIII from MPB, and like 3 out of 10 of every shot I take does this where it freezes for 10 seconds when taking the photo, then the photo comes out completely white/blank?
Very new to cameras in general so please go easy on me.
