I need to vent about Dia Mirza’s recent podcast comments and her absolute trainwreck of a "justification" video.

First of all, let’s get one thing straight: Yes, fight against patriarchy. Yes, absolutely fight against climate change. Both are massive, real-world issues. But listening to a multi-millionaire Bollywood celebrity connect the two while living the lifestyle she lives is peak irony.

It’s the classic "rules for thee, but not for me" celebrity playbook.

How are you going to preach about the environment when your entire existence is funded by massive carbon footprints? These elites live highly luxurious lives, drive around in high-emission expensive cars, blast industrial-grade ACs 24/7, and consume endless luxury makeup and fashion brands that thrive on heavy manufacturing and global supply chains.

They don't live a single day of a truly sustainable, low-impact lifestyle, but they love blaming systemic issues on everyone else from the comfort of their gated mansions.

If you are that privileged, what actual, tangible ground-level changes are you bringing to the table besides corporate-sponsored panel talks and buzzword-filled Instagram videos?

Stop using real, complex global crises as conversational aesthetics to sound intellectual. It’s embarrassing.

And let’s not forget the blatant selectivity in her activism. We’ve all seen the pattern before. She will instantly turn into animal rights crusaders the second a local festival rolls around, putting up preachy posts about "don’t throw colors on animals during Holi" But the moment Bakri Eid comes by? Suddenly, that deep empathy for animal trauma completely vanishes and they're happily celebrating it.

It's the exact same story with her completely misinformed rants on complex reforms like the(UCC) or ONOE. She reads a couple of headlines, doesn't actually understand the legal or ground-level reality of the policy, but jumps straight onto her high horse to lecture the public. She fundamentally confuses fluency in English with actual intellect. Just because you can construct smooth, polished sentences in English with a solemn expression does not mean you have any real substance or depth regarding the massive issues you are preaching about.

Patriarchy causing Climate Change take is the peak of elite inframe: (Dia Mirza)
