The useless hotline podcast scam

I just wanted to share something that has happened to me just now and I’m very glad that I caught it before it got further or I got hacked. There is a podcast called the useless hotline. Apparently their Facebook got hacked as well. So I am now receiving emails saying that they would like to host me on their podcast. And they’re offering money. They say it’s to other creators. I have about 36,000 followers. So I get emails often. But I emailed the email connected to the Facebook account and ask them is this legit? They said yes. But apparently their Facebook account is also hacked. Because there was one post saying we’re hosting people online through Facebook lives. But that’s how they got this account as well. They emailed them probably. And then they ask you to share your screen or analytics or whatever, and then they hack you. So that’s how they got their account. Even though they have 75,000 followers. I haven’t seen anything about this on the Internet, so I wanted to be the first one. Don’t fall for it and I know it sounds obvious. But they did it really well. I almost fell for it. And I don’t understand why I can’t find anything about it online for this specific account, but it’s a known scam apparently. It was just more advanced for me hahah. Look out!
