Bar queues

Honest question about the bar queues.

On the Friday, the queues for the bars were massive, stretching out past the barrier maze and into the crowd. Saturday/Sunday, the queues were non-existent or out a couple of winds in the barriers. While Saturday was quieter (the only day which didn't sell out day tickets), the crowds for Linkin Park seemed busier than for Limp Bizkit, so it's not solely a numbers game.

Anyone have any idea why Friday's bar queues were so crazy? The shorter day (1pm start vs 11am)? People not having had massive hangovers yet? Starting the weekend with a bang?
