Has anyone else had experience with Hush (@apphush)?

I signed up and became a paying member… I did the usual scouting for any weird reviews but they have 150k+ followers on Instagram and lots of creator comments, so I assumed they were a legitimate platform.

After joining, I found there were only a handful of campaigns, all of them almost wanted very detailed content briefs, full usage rights and revisions in exchange for product only… and I was PAYING for this too 🥴

I decided it wasn’t for me and tried to cancel my membership. That’s when the problems started.

There doesn’t seem to be any way to cancel through the website. The support email they direct you to bounces back as undeliverable, and the “Delete My Account & Erase My Data” button on the site doesn’t even work.

I’ve emailed multiple times, messaged them on Instagram, and had no response whatsoever. I’m now concerned about future payments being taken and the fact that I can’t delete my account or request removal of my data.

I’m considering reporting the issue to the ICO if I continue to receive no response, but before I do, I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar experience with them?
