Are Polish RyanAir staff the most strict when it comes to bag size?

Katowice airport I have flown (and had my bag checked) at the ryan air gate multiple times. In Katowice they were more strict than anywhere else and it made me nervous.

Is it also possible that once the girl realise I was foreigner, she was more lenient?
