Nothing makes sense
With the population of zombies there is no where near enough food. The county would have genuinely starved to death within 3 days even without the virus outbreak. Every single person has ignored car maintenance for the last 5 years prior to the outbreak, yet somehow the mechanics shops are still around? With zero customers in the county doing car maintenance for years...
Entire grocery stores don't have enough supplies to feed a 4 person family for a single week, yet there were a few hundred thousand people (NOW ZOMBIES) that respawn endlessly which again makes no sense.
I understand the game is a survival game more than an RPG but if you make it as difficult as possible for "realism" why does that idea not impact other parts of the game? Like a reasonable level of food. Not one American family has a single banana and a single can of beans. Yes poverty exists but anyone with a house has at least 2 fucking cans worth of food, come on.
On top of that, where the fuck are the cars? Has the developer ever been to America or lived here? NEAR EVERY ADULT HAS A VEHICLE. American towns are not walkable. I guarantee you in Kentucky they care even less about walkable cities. At least for every two zombies there should be a car. MINIMUM.
Then there's guns. In-game did Americans just give up all of their guns the week before the outbreak? There should be 1-5 guns per zombie. Not everyone owns guns, but personally gun owners rarely or never own only ONE gun. And once again, IT IS KENTUCKY. PRETENDING THAT GUNS ARE RARE IS DUMB AS HELL. And on that note, NOT ONE HUMAN OWNED A SLEDGEHAMMER IN THE ENTIRE COUNTY? That is realistic? Really?
I genuinely believe even if these things are all intentional, the developers have genuinely never been to America and have lived in extreme poverty their entire lives, otherwise none of this shit makes any sense and does not contribute to realism, it detracts from it.
