Genuine Suggestions needed for mains 2026.

Hello friends.

Myself non-serious aspirant. Just a casual guy. Started preparation during Covid. But never been consistent for even three four months continuously. I studied for some weeks and then took long breaks. No coaching. No lectures. Only some standard books and some random coaching notes. No Ncert. No answer writing. No regular foundation. No optional classes. Even graduated from distance learning only.

Still cleared Bpsc PT. But lacks of answer writing cost me it's mains. I have general knowledge about almost every topic but no concrete knowledge to write a proper mains answer.

I was procrastinating till now that once I clear Upsc prelims then I will start answer writing for mains..

And today I'm there.. this year also wasn't prepared well for Prelims. But made it to the pdf.

Now I want some genuine advices that will test series work for me. I'm living at my home, was doing self study, I've a library at a distance of one km. If I'm joining offline test series then I've to move to Delhi and will be very expensive which is a fact. So will joining offline test series work for beginner like me or should I join online only and continue with self study.

I'm seriously doubting clearing my mains this year. So what should I do. Have someone like me done well in mains in two months duration.? Is there a genuine possibility.?
