iPhone 16 Pro is worse than my iPhone 13 Pro?

So I recently bought a refurbished iPhone 16 Pro, as I wanted to upgrade from my 13 Pro. I was super excited to try the newer model, but ended up being disappointed for a number of reasons:

-Display looked blurry/grainy (my 13 Pro looks much more crisp in comparison)

-Camera/photo quality is much worse, despite being technically better

-Scrolling felt much slower/less smooth compared my 13 Pro

-Brightness was significantly less at 100%

Things to bear in mind is that I am on iOS 18 on my 13 Pro, as I don’t have enough storage to update to the latest iOS, so maybe so of these issues are from software issues?

Also, I bought my iPhone 16 Pro from a (reputable) third party refurbisher - is there the possibility that this could be to blame?
