Is EAC ever going to work on Macs running Crossover/Heroic?

After season 22 ended prematurely for me due to the introduction of EAC, I've slowly started to accept that I might have to retire from RL unless I decide to switch to Windows or get a gaming PC. Now I'm wondering if this issue is ever gonna be resolved (or if its even possible), otherwise I'd like to get my 30GBs back.

Or anyone out there on Mac that's found a workaround?
