Question about historical accuracy of the bolt actions?

Historical Post

Hey everyone, I was curious if anyone knows why some of the bolt action rifles don't function like they would in real life. As far as I can tell, all of the bolt action rifles in this game close the bolt on an empty chamber after you've fired your 5th round, when in reality a lot of these firearms don't allow you to close the bolt when empty, without first depressing the follower out of the way of the bolt. The follower that aids the rounds into the chamber will block the bolt from going forward when empty. As far as I know, they were made with this feature to give a soldier a tactile/physical feeling of being out of ammo. For a game that seems to value historical accuracy, I was curious why this fairly obvious function isn't in the game? Not all bolt actions from this time period operate this way, but a lot of the big ones like the k98, arisaka type 99, 1903, and others do. Was curious if anyone had any insight? Still loving the game, though. Thanks!
