Dojima’s JP VA situation

So I saw a post about a Famitsu article stating that Dojima’s Japanese voice will be made up of recycled audio from the original game by the late Unsho Ishizuka. However, there was also the fact that Persona 4 Revival is fully voiced in Social Links and other stuff, and ther seems to be not much lines that Ishizuka recorded for Dojima that they could reuse. This led to some people worried that SEGA could use necromancy for these additional lines with AI (and this is coming off the heels of the announcement that Tupac would be in Stranger than Heaven).

However, I’ve also seen some people claim that the famitsu article was mistranslated a bit, with it claiming that Dojima was “originally” voiced by Unsho Ishizuka, and if you look at the Japanese version of the broadcast, Dojima sounds a bit different from Ishizuka’s original take. Therefore, I personally believe that instead of going the terrible route of using AI for Dojima’s Japanese voice, they might just recast him with a different VA similar to Igor in recent Persona properties.
