greetings! and happy weekend! I'm here because, like many of you, I'd love to make some long-term online friends who enjoy regularly chatting about daily life, hobbies, passions, general nonsense, etc.

about me: I'm 29 and from the united states. I'd describe myself as someone who's nerdy and I really appreciate unironic enthusiasm for the little things in life. some of my interests are entomology, theme park history, crochet, watercolor, video games, and museums. I collect aquatic algae called marimo, elongated pressed pennies, sanrio merch, and miniature beanie babies. I might be the only person you meet who still plays nintendogs.

fun facts: I have 4k+ hours in my favorite video game, I have more than a dozen tattoos, I once helped create and run a haunted house for halloween, I'm particularly skilled at claw machines in arcades, and I'm trained in martial arts, tap dancing, wilderness survival, and latte art.
