Pip payments from my mum to my bank account

Hey, I’ve been under pip for many years, and have let my mum have it paid into her account to cover living expenses, however planning on getting this paid into my account and then transferring her money seperately just to have more control over my finances. She knows I want to do this too but said I have to wait until the next pip renewal before we can change this. Is that correct? As when I googled it, it seemed to say we can call and get it changed.

Please advise me on the best way to go around changing the payouts from my mums bank account to mine. Thanks
