Has anyone ever tried ondansetron for IBS-D?

Feel as if running out of medications to try minimise issues and I feel my dr is pretty fed up with me moaning about it to them- get told to do the usual fodmap etc which is soul destroying. I’ve noticed ondansetron can be used? Anyone tried it- been on amitryptilne with little effect
