I M19 am confused about F18's actions and how to address them.
Me and my girlfriend have been dating for nearly a year and after university ended we had more time so we've started to play video games together, she's never played video games before and is absolutely horrendous at them, which I don't mind.
we've been playing some Roblox game called the wild west, and in this game you can rob places but if other players catch you they can kill you, and so when we go to rob its a risk and we might die and lose the loot we try to steal.
Sometimes when we die she gets upset with me because she wanted to leave but I said we should steal everything first, or she wants to go about it in a certain way and I say no we should do it this way and we end up dying (I prefer to play more risky while she likes to play it safe).
And what I've noticed is if I don't do as she asks she gets upset and goes off to do her own thing in the game (there is much more to do than just robbing) and intentionally ignores me while still in call with me, I REALLY don't like this and have asked her not to but when the situation arises she does it again.
an example of this is last night i became a bad guy and told her to kill me to complete a quest, and to tease her a little bit i would evade her bullets (because she shot at a predictable tempo) and was laughing and she was laughing, and then when she was reloading her gun to try again i shot her twice in the head and killed her then she went off to do her own thing intentionally ignoring me again.
We haven't had any big arguments and whenever there is a disagreement we talk it out calmly and try to be better, we had a little bit of a conversation last night where she said she doesn't like it when I kill her without permission, but I feel that it's a little unrealistic of an ask in this sort of game.
I'm not sure how to further go about this because I believe she does this ignoring thing BECAUSE it upsets me so (because I like to play together and what's the point if we're not doing stuff together). And I'm afraid expressing to her that this makes me upset and does get to me will satisfy that power she holds over me and just make her use that more to get what she wants.
