Competitive with a disability

News & Discussion

I've been playing OW for 10 years. I started out on xbox, then when that broke, my sister let me use her ps5 until I finally got a pc about 3 years ago.

I, however, kept on using a controller since it was what I was used to, and I quickly realized that it wouldn't be possible to keep playing comp like that. At the time, I really didn't mind and stuck to playing QP only and avoiding mouse and keeb.

My problem is that this year, I decided to go back to competitive, but the controller stopped being a crutch and became a disability aid after an injury i suffered 2 years ago. I've been trying to switch to M&K, but it leaves me in a lot of pain on my left wrist after just a couple of games.

I'm coming here looking for some tips and suggestions, if there are alternatives, if anyone else has gone through this. I appreciate any kind of feedback, thank you!
