ATFL surgery experiences

Hi! I’m scheduled for ATFL reconstruction surgery in 2 days and I’m unsure what to expect afterward. Could you share your post-surgery experiences? I am a little scared but had no option other than surgery as I have been suffering from pain and re rolling my ankle multiple times since 1 year
