MODS DON'T SAVE GAME (PLS HELP)

Recently, I installed mods onto Hogwarts Legacy on my PC. They work fine when I'm in the game, but when I close the game and reopen it later, any progress that I completed with the mods (quests, professor assignments, purchases, etc.) literally disappears, like I never did it. All the mods that I installed also completely disappear like I never installed them. Basically, mods don't allow that session to save for some reason. I have to completely get rid of all mods if I want my progress to save. Anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be very appreciated 🙏
