Novel recommendations, 1 female mc and 1 male mc.
I had an urge so below are chinese novels that I want to recommend because I feel that they are of good quality and has SCD elements while not being the core of the story, like reverend insanity for example, its not SCD focused but is very well written and has lots of content for scaling.
I won't scale anyone with much of the proper specifics since I dont know how to. Especially since its been a while since I read the novels due to being busy, I haven't even finished the former and the latter is still ongoing, ill list my impressions at the end of each one.

THE BOSS DISGUISED AS THE WHITE LOTUS HEROINE AND WENT CRAZY
Chapters: 1124
I recalled seeing a post about female characters so I scoured this up from my library. The mc, Li Ke, is a big shot from another world and reincarnates with a system in a cultivation sworld. Now the system isn't really a cheat that the mc relies on and the reincarnation of the mc was also not a coincidence, both are related to the plot. Anyway, mc starts with a small background so the start is quite slow then ramps up to a bit faster once the general world and cultivation system is explored.
Now mc is scheming and cunning which is a given. I'd say she is good at emotional manipulation and seduction, she used her beauty to her advantage by making use of the characters attracted to her and she also used her brother in the early stages by guilt-tripping him and acting innocent.
Another is deception and trapping, a whole lot of characters were tricked to death by her in schemes and combat because she is good at reading people and acring weak which she uses all the time provided no one knows her true character. In terms of emotional regulation she is very calm and I dont recall them ever being shocked or explicitly stated to have been affected by her emotions when it comes to judgement.
Next is adversity capacity, she feels like a very hard to kill cockroach that has various tricks to keep herself alive, I recall the system was an antagonist and the situation of the dynasty she was in was really bad due to the enemy cultivators outside which not only had much more numbers but also higher realm existences due to verious factions. For the system, she was already suspicious of it somewhere around the start of the story and has always been probing at it, at one point she orchestrated a situation where she was seemingly desperate and deliberately forced herself into a corner just to deal with the problems of the system and the various enemies surrounding her as well. I rceall her actions vaguely and feel that the whol thing would would count as good at tactics, strategy, reasoning, thinking, and the like. I think that should give one an impression, I really don't recall anymore details so thats it.
Writing wise, I think its good but maybe pacing could be better and a lot of the chaps were in the starting area so I feel like its a bit thin personally deaite having like a 1000+ chapters. As for the power system, its not the usual cultivation, if anything its more closer to martial arts but is still cultivation since things like formations exists and the energy isnt just a bunch of internal qi, its just that it lacks the mystique since a lot of applications in the chaps I read up to was mc fighting for her life so she hasnt had a way to access or dabble in such knowledge. Mc personality wise is calm, selfish and profit-oriented but she wont do evil for no reason nor look down on others arrogantly, aside from that, I vaguely recall she also has aspects of doing small acts of favors to those who dont harm her and treat her as a person or have been with her from the start on the premise it doesn't harm her interest or life and that she has the ability, an example is her maid, forgot the name so there is very very small to no poison depending on how you look at it.
(take it with a grain of salt, as well as the earlier details.)
Rating:
At minimum probably high tier, at maximum maybe very high or more. I had about 400-500ish chaps left and she still has to deal with the being behind the system and the schemes of a god in that world.

NOVEL OVERVIEW (Scaling is at bottom)
This one is one of my favorites. The mc, Fu Qian, is an ordinary person on a normal planet that is similar to earth. Suddenly, he gets an inivitation by the great existence Warehouse. He accepts the inivitation as he had nothing to do. Now for the very early chaps of the story, Fu is already a bit not right in the head. In the sense that his adaptability is strong and his thinking is quite creative to say the least. Another is that he is what I would say a very very open-minded individual, he has a very strong acceptance of anything that comes his way and he always thinks from both the good and bad. In the plenty of novels I read his can be considered one of the most unique and competent.
However, these traits only get more obvious as the mc experiences more missions and grows into a professional warehouse worker, at the beginning he is more of a brute force and trial and error guy who needs resets, after a certain point, mc has nearly perfect completion rate but at some points will have to restart because a task he gets may have a very special nature or background.
Personality wise, mc is calm, casual, sarcastic and pragmatic. In the earlier chaps he is more human and there was one scene where he said that he should take responsibility for his actions of causing an accident due to testing a reward. But thats it, it was never mentioned again nor did simila events occur, as the mc experiences more missions, he eventually reaches what I would call the professional state where he very rarely needs more than one try to complete an instance, at that point he basically only cares about the mission completion and maximizing all possible information gain from an instance, he wont go on a killing spree if there are better options but it was explicitly stated he would try them if the other approaches dont work so dont wore about morals or personal valules affect his work. The professional state occurs just about when he advances to rank 3 I think then things go up from there.
The gist of the warehouse is that mc is sent to do tasks, these tasks have a ranking from 3-xxx to 1-xxx which signify increasing difficulty. Each mission comes with a weird abstract opening description that may contain hints to the completion of the task or contains background details regarding the history or nature of what is happening within the task. These tasks are performed in a parallel time and space using the authority and power of the warehouse, how a task is completed may influence the actual history depending on the nature of the task. The tasks themselves are randomized, some are killing missions, some are escort or protection missions, some are investigation missions, or instances where mc has to fulfill certain conditions to even trigger the task. These aren't fixed scenarioes like those in liar game but there are limitations depending on the nature if the task. I'll also say is that each task has a purpose, some much more than the others, the authors connects even the starting instances to later instances or things the mc encounters, its well thought out.
Next is sanity, its basically the health bar of the mc (note this is separate from the mc's physical state). I mentioned resets earlier, if the mc dies or the objective is no longer possible then mc gets sent back to the warehouse, sanity points are spent to enter the instance and no he can't skip the instance (until he gets the authority later on but its never used it I recall as mc wants to do every task). The amount of sanity points are limited and can be recovered with each completed task or certain item rewards from the warehouse after an instance is completed. If sanity is gone, mc goes insane, losses sense of self, or die, cant recall.
The main world is a lovecraftian type with the extraordinary power system, ranking from 9 to 1. Thing such as pollution and the like exists, the powers are also quite abstract and conceptual. Writing wise, it is very good and author seems to have made an a deep outline for each volume to connect the instances from the past volumes to later ones, I think author already has a concrete idea on the world development and story direction long before a chapter is uploaded. However, it is episodic? Is that the term? Well there are three main points of action for the mc, the extraordinary world, the original world, and the instances. The extraordinary world is the world where warehouse sends mc to a parallel time and space which is the instance, but outside of that, its an actual world so mc makes schemes, investigates, and explores areas that may be related to past missions or truths he wants to investigate. The original is the non extraordinary world, you can consider it filler but at times there are some plot related points that happen that wll be used later on, mc also has friends ther but they dont affect the mc's task or the extraordinary world anyway. In terms of power progression, mc stays at each of the later stages for a long time due to things related to the plot and because the main sense of progress is the mc's exploration of the world, its by no means stagnant, mc gets items from instances and also gets more stuff to do in the extraordinary world.
INTELLIGENCE:
Ill list some CATS, for this its abstract thinking or was it reasoning. Mainly because lots of the missions involve non-linear and abstract logic, the main reason is the power system which involves all sorts of concepts. In one of the later instances for example he was actually in the subconscious of a side character, during that, he faced various weird situations that would come from a fairtytale, also he had no powers in that specific mission, he only had an ordinary body yet he still did it first try. Another instance is that he had to find a certain person, yet the guy existed but not physically but conceptually which the mc deduced after step by step deduction and eliminating possibilities through guiding the actions of others while simultaneously conducting investigations, he is easily able to multitask and efficiently do multiple things in one stroke.
Next is probably social and emotional manipulation, deception, theory of mind. Some of his actions in the extraordinary world and instances involved organizations and naturaly people as well. He usually ruins their plans or for convenience and safety purposes, he hides his identity or acts under an alias or the warehouse already prepared an identity. He is very adept at guiding others into doing actions or making them think what he wants them to think. He uses sarcasm, elegance and his casualness to often break or control the atmosphere, as I said in the overview he isn't normal even in the extraordinary world, plenty consider him a madman. Of course this wont work on everyone but its his unique acting style, its very distinct once you get to know it and characters in the novel even explicitly stated this. He misleads others constantly for testing or invesigation purposes be it indvidual or organization, he has a precise grasp on the scale and uses minimal action to get the best results.
Next is adversity capacity, in instances involving the number 1, it usually involves mc being locked of his powers and having only one attempt or its certain death. This is because the warehouse is not exactly invincible and some great existences who know of it make traps to kill the employees. In the story, Fu is the only employee active and alive, you can probably guess some reasons. Due to this, all of mc's workload is much more difficult and has less technical support from the warehouse. Back to topic, I think its the first ever number 1 instance, mc has ordinary body and has to do his task as usual. Problem is that even the task is a trap, the existence behind this is very familiar with the warehouse and made targeted measures. Basically, the trap lay in the task and sanity value, each time mc fails a task he loses sanity but its exponential if I recall based on the task chain that instance. So lets say the first task is there, mc completes it, if he failed that task he loses sanity, then comes the next task since he completed the last one, by normal logic he should complete the next task as well, the problem is that following all tasks from beginning to end is a trap, even if you realize it later then it will too too late, your sanity is not enough to bear the punishment of failing. Not to mention, the various dangers in the instance that constantly try to kill the mc, mc noticed the abnormality early so to break the deadlock he didnt follow the remaing tasks at all but instead tried to destroy the logic of the world or atleast a loophole, its because the world there wasnt normal, it had a bunch of rules and stuff so mc had an idea to use the rules to allow the warehouse to rescue himself from the trap since the world itself was the one restraining him, if it can be opened for even a little bit then the warehouse can fish him out.
(Apologies for rambling and not being too clear and specific on points and examples, I typed this on the spot based on my impressions since I didnt really intend this post to be a high effort analysis, I just wanted to share and give an overview.)
Rating:
Probably very high to extremely high tier, I doubt its top tier, I dont know much about scaling so I am just comparing it to the feats of others based on intuition.
Note: Well ask questions if you have some, I cant guarantee to answer correctly, if you get your hopes up or are interested then nice but I cant guarantee if it meets your expectations.
I also apologize for the weird english, not my first language. Thank you for reading.
