Landspeeder base question

I don’t feel comfortable having my new Landspeeder using the hovering base it comes with as I’m sure I’ll break it . Has anyone based their Landspeeder ON the base or does anyone have a different way they could post a picture of? Was wanting to treat it like a big bike and just have it going up or down hill on soke basing material
