What’s the best way to advance in the Supply Chain Industry?
Hello Reddit!
I’d like some advice on how I should progress down my Supply Chain career now that I’ve made the switch.
My original B.S. was in Finance from Florida State University, but I had no luck entering the financial services industry. However, I was given a shot as a Purchasing Agent for an MRO company and now I want to gear myself best for a career in Supply Chain Management. My goal right now is within a year or two becoming a Supply Chain Analyst or a Procurement Manager.
I’ve already been accepted into F.I.U’s MSLSCM program, but I’d like to know what would the best way to advance my career while attending school? Should I complete certifications like Sigma Six and ASCM certifications?
What’s your advice?
