Is writing a dead skill or is my manager just lazy?

Pretty much what the title says. My manager and the BDM are in charge of approving my copy, and their "process" is just running my social posts and case studies through ChatGPT and sending them back to me. No feedback. No notes. Just a bot rewrite.

Is this really where we’re at now? I’m working with a team of four guys who worship AI like it’s a deity, and honestly, it’s insulting. I’ve been trying to use it less to keep my own skills sharp, but it’s hard to stay motivated when the leadership doesn’t value original thought.

Does anyone else feel like their creative growth is being stunted by a "standardized" AI output? How do you even develop a unique voice when your superiors just want the robot version?
