This is the best update of all time.

Alright now that I got your attention with this clickbait ass title I want to see if anyone shares my opinion: this update wasn't even bad, and y'all are hating on it a little too much.

I don't really understand why the hate on the summer event.

I find the summer event really fun. I think its super cool they have the old summer units VFs (especially Mereoleona, she's so good), the mythics aren't overturned but also not terrible; the portals and the event pass give a massive amount of stat chips allowing us to finally grind for godly stats; the models are good (whether they ate recognisable depends on the character... But I think none are bad); even if we all end of turning cutscenes off I LOVE the effort they put into the Gojo Sukuna unit with all the cutscenes; I think the unit itself is really cool too.

Now, yes there are downsides. Yes, the lag is abhorrent. Yes, it's a shame there's no good AFK option like in the winter one. Yes, it's banner slop. Yes, the Gojo vs Sukuna powercreep is an absurd landmark in the (already bad) powercreep department.

But I will be honest with you: if the game mode wasn't so laggy and the vanguard wasnt so overloaded, I think this would be truly a contender for one of their greats. The event is fun, lots of old units came back, the models are good, the units are cool. I think we're giving them a little too much hate.

PS: the models for the Vanguard are very good but nearly unrecognisable for the characters they're meant to look like. I am however willing to cut slack because JJK is the one anime they supposedly REALLY can't mess with when it comes to DMCA, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
