Car recommendations

Well whats the story. Not looking to write an entire script here but for a bit of context i bought a vw passat cc 2014 with a 2 litre tdi with 280,000kms on it back in november as i was told the engines in them are great and its been a nightmare in terms of reliability. Im looking at selling it and buying something simpler that wont suprise me with €1500+ repair costs. Just seeing if i can get some recommendations.

I do alot of motorway driving so id be looking at diesels. Ive been eyeing up avensises/ rav4s that have the 2 litre d4d engine. Another one ive been considering, and itll probably make ye laugh are dusters with the 1.5 diesel. If yee can recommend anything else id really appreciate it. Sound 👍
